There really isn’t a more special event than a beautiful wedding. Wedding memories certainly tend to last a lifetime and it’s those little touches that really add to the experience.
Josh and Sarah certainly worked hard to create their perfect day, and Sweet Addiction were honoured to play a part in bringing their vision to life.
The Venue
Josh and Sarah chose The Riverstone Estate to host their big day. Set on the banks of the Yarra River in the Yarra Valley wine region, the property encompasses a large homestead and function centre, a vineyard and cellar door where you can partake in a little wine tasting and a meal.
The weddings they host are often held outdoors to take advantage of the beautiful scenery, with inside options available should the weather not be favourable. The team here go the extra mile to make the bride and groom’s ideal day come to life, in the way that they imagined.
The Ceremony
Josh and Sarah chose an outdoors wedding ceremony, overlooking the hills – where they even built their own arbour to stand under as they said their vows. The incredible flower arrangements added to the beauty of the setting – as supplied by Debbie O’Neill Flowers. And luckily, the weather stayed in their favour.
The Reception
The reception was also outdoors, cocktail style and Sarah and Josh certainly thought of everything. They organised comfort items for their guests, to ensure they were comfortable and taken care of for the entire event, regardless of the weather. This included blankets, fans and bottles of water.
But it was the buffet dessert table that really shone towards the end of the evening. This of course included an assortment of confectionary items from us at Sweet Addiction. In among the intricate hand-sized glazed desserts, were our dreamy marshmallows, musk sticks and our Triple Strawberry Gummi Hearts.
The Sweet Addiction confectionery really complemented the table, adding sophistication and a whole lot of fun.
The Photos
The photographer was Be Here, Be Now who did a lovely job of capturing the happy couple among the beautiful surrounding scenery. Great photography captures naturally special moments, and there is no doubt that there was much love and happiness from Josh, Sarah and their guests.
